Thomas Cook has resumed tours to Tunisia for the first time since the UK FCO posted a travel warning for Tunisia following the 2015 tourism attack at Sousse Beach in which 38 tourists were killed.
The travel warning was lifted in July 2017.
This has been a very tough situation for Tunisian tourism. I was glad to see participants from Tunisia at the Boston Globe Travel Show last week, and hope there will be no further terrorism incidents.
