The Aboriginal Tourism Association of Canada (ATAC) has received a $70,000 grant from the federal government, and invested $30,000 of its own funds, to establish a presence in the Atlantic Provinces to promote the regional indigenous tourism industry.
Members of the ATAC include indigenous Canadians from 3 cultures: First Nations, Inuit and Métis.
