Air Canada has announced the return of its nonstop Toronto (YYZ) - Tampa (TPA) service which has been suspended since January because of COVID-19 travel restrictions.
Initially, the service is planned to be year-round but weekends only.
Canada is the Tampa Bay region's #1 international market, and in 2019 was the source of 436,773 visitors and spend of more than $265M.
Air Canada SVP Mark Galardo said:
"As the biggest foreign carrier into the U.S., we are committed to maintain the strong tourism and trade relationship Canada and Florida have built over the years, and we are delighted to be back to support the recovery of both economies."
