In summer 2018 more than 8000 Canada-Ireland airline seats will be available weekly.

Arrivals to Ireland from Canada were up 11% in 2016 and a further 12% in 2017.

But hotel capacity remains a problem which promoting other Irish destinations besides Dublin, and encouraging shoulder-season visits, might be able to fix, given sufficient marketing resources.
