Museums and libraries in New England cities including Biddeford and Lewiston, Maine; Manchester, NH; and Woonsocket, RI - all former textile-mill towns to which Canadians migrated from Quebec to find work in the 19th and early 20th centuries - are cooperating on creating a tourism trail based on French-Canadian culture.

Organizers hope that the cities involved will support their initiative, and that the trail will draw visitors from Quebec.
