According to Tourism Nova Scotia, of 23,000 incremental visitors in June 2017, about 16,000 came from the Atlantic Provinces and Ontario, but visitors from the USA also increased by 6,000 and overseas visitors by 1,000.
The (relatively) stronger CAD this summer - 20% discount vs. USD compared with 28% earlier - is benefiting tourism in both Canada and the USA.
