The City of Ottawa and Ottawa Tourism have announced a collaboration to create a destination development fund intended to enhance the experiences of visitors to the city.

It's planned that about $1M annually of revenue from the city's Accommodation Tax will go into the fund, to be used to provide grants to entrepreneurs and festivals that bring new visitors.

Applications will be accepted quarterly.
