PEI government sees a need to revise its 2007 Tourism Act to address vacation-rental sharing businesses like Airbnb which didn't exist at time of last update.
Safety is an important concern.
The new regulation may be in place as early as summer 2018.
Let's every jurisdiction address this situation intelligently before lives are lost in uninspected, unsafe premises.
