Tourisme Montreal's Bonjour Chine ("Hello China") program teaches people in the city's tourism industry how to welcome Chinese tourists and cater to their preferences, in order to induce longer stays and wider travels around the Province of Quebec. So far 150 people have completed the one-day program, which Tourisme Montreal intends to deliver throughout QC in partnership with regional DMOs.
New China-Montreal air connections are expected to increase Chinese visitation to Montreal by 15% in 2018.
