Tourism Toronto and Expedia, partnering with Air Canada, have launched the 2nd phase of their #TorontoStopover promotion which aims to induce Americans and Brits to plan trips that involve a stopover in Toronto - "Canada's Downtown" - with no additional transport expense.
Per Expedia, Phase 1 of the campaign resulted in a 130% increase in stopover bookings, and a 15% increase in Toronto hotel demand.
