With 304,000 visitors a year, China has surpassed the UK as DC's #1 source market.
The "Welcome China" initiative involves educating employees of tourism businesses as to how to make Chinese visitors feel welcome by using Mandarin versions of brochures, Web sites and other marketing collateral.
