$239K grant to the SE CT Council of Governments will be used to develop a cycling/walking plan designed to "capitalize on tourism". The Council will begin shortly to solicit bids from consultants, and plans to complete the initial study within 10 months.

Funding for actual implementation and construction will be sought later.

Some consulting firm somewhere is about to be made very happy.
