At a press conference in Roxbury yesterday, Acting Boston Mayor Kim Janey announced the launch of the All Inclusive Boston tourism campaign which is designed to stimulate recovery of the city's tourism industry - devastated by COVID-19 over the past year - and promote Boston as a welcoming destination for a diverse audience of travelers.
Travel and hospitality is Boston's third-largest industry. Tourism to the city is down 70% from 2019, hotel revenues down 80%, at least in part because of the absence of convention business since the onset of COVID-19.
The new campaign is the product of a collaboration between Colette Phillips Communications and the Greater Boston CVB.
Advertising will be run across Boston, New England, New York and New Jersey, seeking primarily summer and fall 2021 visitation.
The campaign website bostonusa.com/allinclusivebos/ is hosted in a subdirectory of the CVB site.
