Danish carrier Primera Air will be the first airline in 9 years to fly to the USA from Stansted.

Primera plans to offer daily service to New York Newark and 4/week service to Boston Logan beginning in April 2018.

Round-trip fare to NYC is expected to be 271 GBP initially.

If this venture is succesful, it should benefit tourism of both the UK (particularly London) and the USA.
