Kate Fox to Head New-Look MOTT

Massachusetts Economic Development Secretary Yvonne Hao, who heads EOED, has announced the appointment of former Visit Salem Executive Director Kate Fox as Executive Director of MOTT.

At the same time, EOED has been reorganized into 3 divisions that focus on key sectors of the MA economy:

• Economic Foundations, dealing with regional, rural and small business growth along with infrastructure, seaport and military installation support
• Economic Strategies, of which MOTT is a part, dealing with tourism and international trade, along with new federal opportunities in life sciences, manufacturing and clean energy; and also representing EOED on the MA Workforce Skills Cabinet
• Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation

Ms. Fox started her new job on Monday.
