$2M 'My Local MA' campaign encouraging residents and visitors to support local businesses - a joint effort of MOTT and the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development - is scheduled to run through December, with a dedicated website here.
Other media used include billboards, radio, TV, print and social platforms.
From the My Local MA toolkit on FindMyLocalMA.com:
"Our goal is to make the case that buying local is how we do our part to
preserve the Massachusetts we know and love. It’s about taking responsibility:
for your quality of life, for your family, for your neighbors."
Toolkit includes downloadable logos and flyers that businesses can display in their windows, along with inspirational PDFs.
Funding for this initiative comes $500K from MOTT's budget, the $1.5M balance from the federal Coronavirus Relief Fund (CARES Act).
Good on Massachusetts!
