"The Springfield You Don't Know" campaign funded by the Western Mass EDC will feature Dr. Seuss Museum, Armory Historic Site, Wood Museum, startup companies. Aim is to acquaint prospective casino visitors with positive aspects of Springfield.
In the late 20th century Springfield had a national reputation for crime and political corruption.
Officials hope the new campaign will help overcome unfavorable perceptions about the city.
