Fall River, MA economic development initiative Viva Fall River has launched a campaign that invites motorists on their way to traditional MA #1 summer leisure destination Cape Cod to take a detour and find out what their city has to offer.
Fall River attractions include:
- The Lizzie Borden House (gave her father 40 whacks, etc.)
- Battleship Cove (USS Massachusetts BB59 and other historic warships)
- Maplecroft historic site
- Children's Museum
- Canned Heat craft brewery
- Fall River Heritage State Park
- Maritime Museum
Fall River is about 50 miles south of Boston, on I195 and US Route 6 between Providence and the Cape.
