Maine minimum wage is now $10.00/hour. Tip credit provision restored in 2017 after being removed in 2016 allows employers to count employees’ tips toward their wages. Tipped employees may now be paid no more than 50 percent of the state’s hourly minimum wage ($5/hour).
Rhode Island minimum wage is now $10.10/hour. Employees may now take leave for their own health and safety needs as well as needs of family members.
Vermont minimum wage is now $10.50/hour. Employers must provide employees with reasonable accommodations for pregnancy-related conditions, such as additional break periods and time off for medical appointments.
