Laconia Motorcycle Week 2020 - "World's Oldest Rally" - originally scheduled for 13-21 June has been postponed to 22-30 August because of travel and business restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Laconia City Council voted unanimously to delay the event because Gov. Chris Sununu's extension of the NH stay-at-home order to mid-May leaves insufficient time to put together safely an event involving tens of thousands of people including many from out-of-state.
