Havas PR strategist Ravi Sunnak has been named to PR Week's 40 Under 40 award list for "turning around" the RI tourism campaign.
Because of the campaign launch fail, RI Gov. Gina Raimondo first cut Havas's budget by $120K, then awarded all but a small part of their 2016 contract to other agencies for 2017.
Per PR Week editor, info on which they based the ad came from Havas (haha).
I think we need some kind of award for tourism marketing and advertising based on quantifiable results certified by clients.
Anyone agree?
