Legislators are divided over whether Airbnb and similar rental services should be under State or local jurisdiction.

State divisions of Fire Safety and Health say they lack the personnel to inspect 3600 Airbnb establishments.

Airbnb claims their service benefits the State while not unduly burdening property owners.
