Latest numbers from the Mayo Clinic's US COVID-19 Vaccine Tracker show that 5 of the 6 New England states have the most vaccinated populations of all US states:

- Rhode Island 79.7%
- Maine 77.9%
- Connecticut 77.`%
- Massachusetts 76.9%
As defined by Mayo Clinic, "fully vaccinated" means 2 injections in the case of the Pfizer and Moderna, one in the case of Johnson & Johnson.
Although behind New England, Hawaii and the West Coast states of Washington, Oregon and California also have high vaccination rates.
Southern states including Alabama (50% fully vaccinated), Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee and Georgia are among the states with least-vaccinated populations.
