Concern is that the Trump Administration's "Buy American, Hire American" Executive Order will cut back or eliminate the J-1 visa program for international work interns and trainees.
Many of the J-1 visa holders work in tourism.
The bill House Resolution 529 has been introduced in support of the J-1 program.
