US NTTO reports that the USA received 77.5M international visitors in 2015, up 3% from 2014, marking the sixth consecutive year of record visitor numbers.
With only a few exceptions (Canada, Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela) new visitation records were set from all major source-market countries.

- Japan (+4%)
Overseas countries with largest increases in visitation in 2015 were:
- South Korea (+21%)
- PRC (+18%)
- UK (+18%)
- India (+17%)
Overseas regional markets with largest increases in visitation were:
- Central America (+14%)
- Western Europe (+12%) (Largely driven by UK, DE, FR, ES)
- Asia (Largely driven by PRC, KR, IN)
- Oceania (+11%)
- Caribbean (+11%)(Largely driven by DO, JM, BS)
US Ports of Entry seeing largest visitation increases in 2015 were:
- Fort Lauderdale (+30%)
- Boston (+29%)
- Orlando (+29%)
- Dallas (+28%)
Pleasure vs. Business
More than 90% of visits from BR, CO, AR, VE and EC were for pleasure, while fewer than 80% of visits from DE, IN, and NL were for pleasure. Overall, 81.7% of visits from overseas were for pleasure, and 14.6% for business.
