#2 Chinese search engine (in terms of volume of mobile searches) Sogou makes most of its money via paid search advertising.
It handles around 483M mobile searches monthly, vs. 665M for rival Baidu.
Sogou is the default search engine on the Tencent Mobile QQ browser.
Google is blocked in much of China, so anyone wanting to play in the mainland Chinese market needs to show up in mobile searches on Baidu and Sogou.
