On Friday 20 December 2019 the US Congress passed and President Donald Trump signed into law a spending bill that reauthorized US national tourist board Brand USA through FY 2027.
Oxford Economics estimates that between 2016 and 2020 Brand USA will have accounted for:
- $54B in US business sales
- $27.6B in value-added GDP
- $53.8B in personal income
- $47 for every $1 spent on promotion
- 53,000 additional jobs
Brand USA is a public-private partnership which operates at zero cost to US federal taxpayers.
