More than 700M Chinese traveled during 1-8 October 2017 "Golden Week".
China and other Asian countries - Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan - continue to be the most popular destinations for Chinese tourists in 2017, but more are heading to more adventurous places like Morocco, Turkey and the UAE.
Upper-income Chinese are beginning to choose custom-designed holidays over package tours.
Those trends in destinations and touring style are beneficial to destinations that are "emerging" for the Chinese tourist - and that's effectively every North American and European destination except perhaps Paris and NYC.
