Do we need another casino in Maine? The prospect of having one that could draw punters from Massachusetts surely must be very attractive to a lot of people in York County.

The State's concern is: where is the money being spent on this effort to get a casino referendum question on the 11/2017 ballot - $4.3M so far - coming from? And are these donors people we want as investors in a gambling operation in Maine?

A York County casino license could be worth $150M.
