Six people have ben murdered, and 4 of their bodies hanged from highway overpasses near the Los Cabos tourist beaches and airports in Baja California Sur.
It's speculated that organized crime may be trying to hurt the tourism industry that constitutes 90% of the economy of the region.
MD of the Los Cabos Tourism Board says he is confident "destination will remain safe."
I hope he's right.
But expect to see an immediate upgrade of the existing US travel advisory for Baja California Sur.
