Air India's new 2/week ATQ-BHX service uses Boeing 787-8s. The Birmingham region has the second-largest Asian community in the UK, and Amritsar is an important spiritual center for Sikhs. The airline also operates a DEL-BHX service.

The Air Canada Rouge 3/week YUL-PHX route flying Airbus A319s is expected to carry mainly business passengers, as Canada is a significant trading partner of Arizona. The state had a $755M trade surplus with Canada in 2017.
