The Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) has been matching marketing funds raised by Cape Breton Island through its 2% "bed tax". This will now continue, with a match of up to $640K/year for 3 years.
Roomnights sold in Cape Breton were up 15% in 2016.
