'Chicago Not in Chicago' campaign not well received at home [VIDEO]

The concept behind Chicago's new tourism campaign "Chicago Not in Chicago" is that a lot of things in other cities were designed and/or created by people in Chicago, including buildings like the Flatiron Building and One World Tower in NYC that were designed by Chicago architects.

So the "Chicago Not in Chicago" videos (see example below) and print ads will include footage and images shot in other cities including Sao Paolo, London, Tokyo and Berlin as well as NYC.

The campaign - which has been heavily criticized in local media - was created pro bono by home-town agency Energy BBDO.
