Winners received a tourism industry mentorship and a $3000 grant to take their idea to the next level of development.
The "Spark" program, intended to support new tourism ventures, is supported by Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island, the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Southwest Ontario Tourism Corporation, Libro Credit Union and community partners and supporters.
Windsor Essex residents, non-profits and small businesses are eligible to apply for these grants.
