Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced yesterday at a news conference in Daytona Beach a $13M in-state ad campaign promoting domestic tourism.
Visitation to Florida was down more than 60% in 2Q2020 vs 2Q2019. It's hoped that the new campaign will support economic recovery and bring back tourism jobs.
The In-State Rebound Campaign is expected to garner 250M impressions of ads on:
- Broadcast TV statewide
- Digital Display and Video via Samsung, Hulu, Pandors, Waze and Disney/ABC
- Social ads on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Amazon, YouTube and Snapchat
- PR initiatives including a Satellite Media Tour across in-state markets, and social-media influencers
Campaign includes a "LoveFL" logo and will run from now through 11/22 using the Tourism Industry Cooperative Marketing Program with Visit Florida and 12 regional partners.
