The Monroe County Tourist Development Council this week is rolling out 3 new TV spots in Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas and Nashville - but not in Florida yet, as highway access to the Keys remains blocked by the Monroe County Sheriff's Department until 1 June.
The new ads - "Welcome Back", "Grateful" and "Personal Space" - all with an outdoor theme - are being paid for out of hotel-tax revenues.
Also on 1 June airport passenger screenings will end and lodging properties and restaurants will be able to open up to 50% capacity. Retail shops can also open. But bars remain closed.
The new campaign also includes digital postcards promoting hotels and an online contest.
