"The Maine Tourism Marketing Partnership Program was developed to provide marketing funding to Maine’s eight designated tourism regions as well as to special events and targeted tourism-marketing efforts within Maine."
There are 3 types of grants:
- Regional Grants
- Special Events Grants
- Tourism Enterprise Grants
Here are some of the guidelines for the Tourism Enterprise Grants:
- Applications accepted twice a year
- Amounts $2500 to $10K
- Applications for next grant cycle are due 1st Friday in November by 2 PM
- Awards will be announced 1st Thursday in December
- Eligibility: Maine municipality or Maine-based 501C3-C6-L3C
- Must increase overnight visitation from 50+ miles away
