The site that's #1 in Google searches for "dpr korea tourism" is http://www.dprktourism.com.my/ which according to the About page belongs to the DPR Korea Tourism Regional Representative Office for Southeast Asia and India.
The FAQ page includes these items:
- "You are welcome to DPR Korea for a holiday. Going to DPR Korea is completely safe and totally legal."
- "Visiting DPR Korea is a meaningful experience." [I'm sure. - DB]
- "There are only a handful of places where you will need to observe some rules on photography."
And Travel Tips include these:
- "To apply for a tourist visa or an entry permit to DPR Korea, you will need to book a full package tour including hotel accommodation, transfers and meals through an accredited travel agency in your country of residence."
- "Travellers’ cheques are impossible to cash in the DPRK. Credit cards are not accepted and there are no ATMs in the country, therefore please bring sufficient cash to last for your stay."
