Canadian national DMO DestinationCanada in partnership with TED Conferences LLC is seeking 14 speakers to be filmed in February 2023 talking about Canada's tourism, creative economy, culture and business innovation.
The recorded talks will be released into the TED channels to be available for public viewing.
Intent is to "refresh and elevate the perception of Canada as an ideal place to travel, study, work, invest and live."
Speaker applications are due 14 August 2022. Applicants must submit a one-minute (NO LONGER) video describing their concept for a talk. TED will interview some applicants via Zoom, and the ultimate speaker lineup will be confirmed in October 2022.
