Videos of areas not affected by Hurricane Michael are already running on Facebook, and a website for the new campaign is expected to go live today with information on Panhandle hotels, attractions and other tourism businesses that are still open, along with TV ads in 15 domestic markets. The overall campaign targets consumers and the trade in both domestic and international markets.

Coming next will be a grant program for businesses impacted by red tide on the Gulf and Atlantic coasts.

Florida has had more than its share of tourism crises in the past few years (see Related Articles) - hope this is the last one for a while.
