As described by ad agency Wieden+Kennedy:
"The aptly named “Only Slightly Exaggerated” campaign is a fanciful, animated interpretation of Oregon’s majestic and diverse natural features and range of outdoor adventures - from mountain biking the North Umpqua Trail and swimming at Trillium Lake to hot air ballooning over Willamette Valley wine country.
"The 90-second animated video, created in partnership with Psyop and Sun Creature, combines a range of animation and illustration styles and features an original score from Emmy-winning composer Jim Dooley, performed by the Oregon Symphony."
The animated videos are part of a $5M campaign designed to differentiate Oregon from all the other destinations with pretty scenery.
Travel Oregon's budget for 2017-2019 was $75M, funded by a 1.8% lodging tax.
