After tweeting this:

"Dear Susan Collins - I really struggled with this but my tourist $ just voted against ever visiting Maine while you remain in office."

which was immediately jumped on by everybody who was unhappy about Brett Kavanaugh being confirmed as a Supreme Court Justice, comedian John Fugelsang, then tweeted:

"This would be a good time to say I never called for a boycott of Maine..."

Unfortunately the damage has been done.
