EU rejects PM May's plan for Irish border resolution

On Thursday last week EU officials rejected UK PM Theresa May's proposal for resolving the Ireland-NI border dilemma through a technological solution, saying it would undermine the single market.

A drop in value of the GBP followed.

Mrs. May has now challenged EU negotiators to propose a better plan.
