Earlier this month at the ITIC Awards ceremony in Dublin, remarks by honoree IAG CEO Willie Walsh included:

“Tourism is a key sector for the Irish economy and it is only right that there is a national event to acknowledge and celebrate the best companies, operators and initiatives in this vibrant industry.”

and

“We’ll be launching two new North American destinations this year, Minneapolis and Montreal, on the back of the six that we’ve launched since 2014 and we expect to add one new destination a year over the next few years."

Aer Lingus - owned by IAG - will be using new A321LR aircraft for transatlantic flights in 2019.
