The 3 UK cities have launched an "Experience England" initiative to promote tourism from 3 fast-growing overseas: markets: India, China and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries of the Middle East.
The initiative is financed by a 1.2M GBP VisitEngland grant awarded to City of London DMO London & Partners.
I'm sure every American DMO must envy its European counterparts for their comparatively easy access to major grants.
