Member of Parliament for Mid Worcestershire Nigel Huddleston has joined the Department of Culture, Media and Sport as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Sport, Tourism and Heritage.

In a cabinet reshuffle last week, Huddleston replaced Helen Whately who left the Tourism post after only 5 months to become Minister of State in the Department of Health.

Huddleston previously worked as travel sector head for Google UK and as travel and tourism consultant for Deloitte in the UK and the US. He holds degrees from Christ Church, Oxford and the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
