Dublin-based LCC Norwegian Air has announced that it will end 6 transatlantic routes between Dublin, Cork and Shannon in Ireland and cities in eastern USA and Canada beginning 15 September 2019.
Passengers already booked will have the option to reroute onto other Norwegian flights, or receive a refund.
The airline said in a release that these routes are "no longer commercially viable" and blamed the grounding of Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
Another blow to Ireland tourism. So sad.
