It appears the EU is going to offer Theresa May's government a "standard" trade agreement - under which the EU would treat the UK much as it now does Canada - vice the "bespoke" deal Mrs. May wants.
Ex- UK Permanent Representative to the EU Sir Ivan Rogers has said that post-Brexit the UK will be farther "out of the union's orbit" than even Turkey.
