In a paper published yesterday UK PM Theresa May announced a plan to keep the UK under the jurisdiction of EU laws and the ECJ until the end of 2020, rather than disconnecting at the day set for Brexit, 31 March 2019.
Rabid Brexiteers in the UK government of course oppose this move, and a legal challenge is possible.
And if this proposal goes forward, the EU Withdrawal Act will likely have to be amended, further delaying progress toward an orderly exit.
Stay tuned.
