Partnering with French travel company Promovacances, Tourism Ireland is using posters in Paris metro stations and Promovacances agencies, along with online ads and e-mail to send prospects to Ireland content on Promovacances.com.
A record 50,000 French tourists visited Ireland in 2017, and TI hopes to improve on that in 2018.
It would be interesting to see what NI's share of those visitors was - should have been substantial in light of the country being on sale for visitors from the Eurozone on account of the weak GBP.
